The victory of Dr. Robert Patenaude

In 1981, Dr. Robert  Patenaude  from Quebec (Canada) was diagnosed with CML. He has gone through a bone marrow transplant in 1982, when he was a second-year medical student. He wrote a book  Surviving Leukemia: A Practical Guide (Your Personal Health) . After 30 years, he didn’t relapse.  See this article, 30 years of victory against cancer.   If you understand French, you can see some videos featuring  Dr Robert  Patenaude

Thanks for the link Gilles,
Having undergone a transplant myself (resistant to IM and before dasatinib and nilotinib were available) this gives me hope for my own remission over the long term.
