For the males it is indeed much simpler than for females, however there is not massively clear data or consensus on the issue for males.
I spoke to Prof Jane Apperley a while back about this. Jane is probably the foremost authority on this subject, and her opinion is that it is fine to father a child on dasatinib and that whilst there are risks with every pregnancy, the father taking dasatinib does not seem to increase these risks.
