TKI's affect kidney function

Categories:

We know TKI's are hard on our kidneys. Important to focus on artery health as well in order to maximize kidney health

Vitamins D & K2 are vital for proper renal function. Something to consider as we move from CML  as killer to CML as with us for life (until cure someday).

Thank you. The first reference provides only a short abstract. The second reference is indeed interesting.

I have an "annual service" for diabetes and that produced a lot of out of target blood results, and GFR was down to 56. Anyway, only a couple more days of worry before I meet haematology.

I think that this URL is unsafe. There is an attempt to get the user to download an extension.

You're right - it seems Sci Hub has moved to https://sci-hub.tf/

I've edited my comment.

David.

Thank you, David. My GFR fluctuates wildly. Four weeks ago it was 64 and today it is 54. I was wondering whether this is a dasatinib issue.

Only just read this post!

im having problems with muscle loss and a big decrease in exercise capacity since treatment with Nilonotib started.  Is there any way of reducing the effect it has on the kidneys that will help improve exercise tolerance?

David, what a wonderful website Sci-Hub is, thank you .
