2016 International CML Foundation Prize winner - Associate Professor Susan Branford

2016 iCMLf Prize is awarded to Associate Professor Susan Branford (Adelaide). The iCMLf Prize complements the ‘Rowley Prize’ and the ‘Goldman Prize’ by recognising outstanding contributions to the management of CML in the Emerging Regions.

Dr Branford is honoured for her important work to standardize the RQ-PCR test in over a hundred laboratories in the Emerging Regions, by personally training scientists in diagnostic testing and giving her personal time and resource to improving the access to CML testing for those who need it most. This makes a huge difference to the management of so many patients in these regions.

The iCMLf medal will be presented during the annual John Goldman Conference on CML in Houston in September.
